These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of grantsetu.in and any related services (collectively, "GrantSetu" or the "Service"), operated by Argajit Sarkar, Dharma Nagar, Uttar Debipur, South Tripura, Tripura - 799155, India ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

GrantSetu aggregates publicly available information about Indian research grant calls and provides discovery, recommendation, and notification features. The Service is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any government agency, ministry, or funding council.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under Indian law. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, copy, or redistribute GrantSetu data at scale without permission.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or other users' accounts.
• Do not upload or transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Do not use the Service to send spam or harass others.

4. Intellectual property

The GrantSetu platform, including its design, code, copy, and curated structure, is owned by us. Underlying grant information remains the property of the respective funding agencies. You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as your research profile), and you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use that content to operate the Service.

5. Paid plans

Optional Pro tiers are billed on an annual subscription basis. Pricing is shown on /pricing. Refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we curate carefully, we do not warrant that grant information is complete, accurate, or current. Always verify details on the official agency portal before applying. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or INR 1,000, whichever is greater). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including missed deadlines or unsuccessful grant applications.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Agartala, Tripura, India. The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably; failing that, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Agartala.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
