GrantSetu is an independent platform that aggregates active research grant calls from major Indian government funding agencies - DBT, DST, ICMR, ANRF, BIRAC, CSIR, UGC, and AYUSH - into a single searchable interface. Researchers create a profile and the platform recommends relevant calls based on career stage, subject area, and keywords.

The platform was founded in 2026 by Argajit Sarkar, a doctoral scholar at Tripura University, after spending too many late nights scrolling through eight different agency portals to find a single open call. GrantSetu fixes that.

What we do

• Curate and verify open grant calls every week.
• Send a free weekly digest every Monday at 7 AM IST.
• Match grants to researchers using career stage, subject area, and keywords.
• Provide deep-link access to the official call page on each agency portal.

What we are not

GrantSetu is not affiliated with any government agency, ministry, or funding council. We do not process grant applications, disburse funds, or guarantee success. All grant data is sourced from publicly available information on official portals; researchers should always verify details on the agency portal before applying.
